hatch shell

on sunday annie asked me if i wanted to go with her and a bunch of friends to see the boston pops on the 3rd of july for the practice performance. i replied with "are you crazy, i hate people and crowds" and she responded with "rascal flatts will be there". i screamed with excitement and said i would go!!
we left our house at 14:30 and rode to community boating in order to lock up our bikes, then we walked over to the shell. when we arrived there were three lines of people waiting to get in.
we sat on the ground for a little over an hour then the security people let us in. annie ran as fast as she could to the front of the grass area.
as you can see from this picture we were pretty close to the stage (10-12 rows back). we were very excited!

jared and annie hiding under our table cloth, trying to stay dry during the storm. the storm passed, everyone dried out and the show went on!

jared being himselfi had an amazing day! everything was great (even the storm). i love living in boston and i have the greatest friends!!
